We are delighted to confirm and announce that Duncan Elliott, Chief Executive Officer of North East Link Project is our Keynote and Opening Speaker.
Duncan Elliott is the Chief Executive Officer at North East Link Project. Duncan was appointed to this project in April 2017. The North East Link will finally complete the missing link in Melbourne by building the freeway link between the Metropolitan Ring Road at Greensborough and the Eastern Freeway.
Along with the Level Crossing Removal Project, Rail Projects Victoria, West Gate Tunnel Project and Major Road Projects Victoria, North East Link Project forms part of Victoria’s Major Transport Infrastructure Authority.
Duncan has also worked for Victoria’s State road agency, VicRoads for 18 years, with his last 5 years as a Regional Director, responsible for road construction, planning and maintenance both in metropolitan Melbourne and South Western Victoria.

Note: The MX Association voted at the last AGM held in Sydney 2016 to change its focus to align itself more with the Bentley product line. The name Bentley Civil Users Association Australasia (BCUAA) was proposed and carried with a unanimous vote.
Whilst MXRoad is still a product within the Bentley suite of programs, Bentley’s focus is now on its OpenRoads technology, of which MX is one of the core technologies. To facilitate this, the MX Association will also aim to strengthen its future conferences by working closely with Bentley and is looking at adopting a similar format to the Bentley Learn conferences from the USA and the Danish Civil User Community. We have committed to continue the Association as an independent entity, however we will be more closely aligned with Bentley to deliver future conferences. All previous information and history of the MX Association can be found here.
